androidx.annotation.Keep not works when using AGP 8.3.0

According to the official doc, Android Gradle plugin 8.3 is the new release for now (2024-03-05).

But when I upgrade AGP from 8.1.0 to 8.3.0, the androidx @keep annotation not works, the class is minified even I add @keep annotation above it. I downgrade AGP to 8.1.0, the annotation works again.

Here is part of my gradle config:

buildTypes {
    release {
        minifyEnabled true
        println("============" + getDefaultProguardFile('proguard-android-optimize.txt').getAbsolutePath() + "============")
        proguardFiles getDefaultProguardFile('proguard-android-optimize.txt'), 'proguard-rules.pro'
    }
    debug {
    }
}

It print the real proguard-android-optimize.txt path, which content is:

Obviously, the # Understand the @Keep support annotation for androidx is gone when using AGP 8.3.0.

So, the question is how to add the Understand @Keep annotation for androidx when using the newest AGP released version?
